Pambazuko has a singular focus on supporting people living with HIV and empowering the people who care for them. A collaborative effort between the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), the University of Washington, and the University of Nairobi, we work together for ways to prevent HIV and to help those living with HIV to live well. One of the most powerful weapons in the fight is to share strategies for staying on the HIV medications and having safer sexual lives. Our goal here is to spread these strategies, and improve lives, by using real-world stories. The booklets, posters, and related material on this site can be freely accessed for use in your locale.
